It is a refreshing and yummy side dish, you see it at picnics/bbq's quite often in the summer, and at Graduation parties too... but I think it is a good all around side dish anytime you're having a party. Like I said, it is really light and refreshing. So anytime you can get good grapes WITHOUT SEEDS you can make this.

What a coincidence. I happened to be browsing through the recipes & saw this here.
One of my cousins had been raving about a grape & pecan salad that someone had brought to our family reunion & the recipe was posted on our reunion Facebook page. It was almost like this except it called for 1/3 cup sugar & 2 tsp vanilla.
We had a family gathering at my oldest daughter’s place last night so I made the grape salad & it was a big hit next time I’m going to make it as a fruit salad with apple pieces, grapes & strawberries. (Maybe even some blueberries, any firm fruit). It will probably be awhile before I make it again but I’ll report back when I do.

This is a great salad, and it actually stores well in the fridge - - - I make a big bowl of it, and it becomes my 'fruit go to' for a few days.... Cool, refreshing and pretty.....
