1 20-ounce can pineappleslices, undrained 6 1-inch thick pork chops 1/2 cup soy sauce 1/3 cup vegetable oil 1/4 cup minced, onion 1 clove garlic, minced 1 tablespoon brown sugar
Drain pineapple, reserving 1/4 cup juice. Set aside. Place chops in a large shallow dish. Combine reserved juice and next 5 ingredients, mixing well. pour over chops. Cover and marinate in refrigerator for 2 hours. Remove chops, reserving marinade. ( I set aside some before I put the meat in). Grill over medium coals for 40 to 45 minutes, turning frequently and basting with marinade. During the last few minutes of cooking, place a pineapple ring on top.
I use what ever thickness of chops I have and adjust cooking time.
