If you don't like an ingredient, don't leave it out. I don't particularly like Gabonza beans, but Amanda said put everything in or it won't taste like a taco. I did and was very surprised it really does taste like your biting into a taco. Yummy!
1st 5 cans are regular sized cans. 1 can kidney beans 1 can pinto beans 1 can gabanzo beans 1 can white hominy 1 can whole kernal corn 1 lg. can diced tomatoes About 30-33 oz. can
Dump all cans in large kettle juice and all Don't drain any of them. Heat and simmer for 20 min. While you are simmering soup, brown 1=2 pounds of hamburger, I use 2# and add the envelope of taco seasonings to burger. Use one pack for each pound of hamb you use. Add hamburger mixture to soup.
In serving soup bowl put a handful of regular fritos in the bottom. Pour a couple of ladels ful of soup over fritos. Sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese and if you like, I did, put a glob of sour cream on top. Mix all together and enjoy. It really does taste like you are eating a taco in every bite. I love this..

Thnaks Dena, this does sound yummy. I've copied and printed it and will try it this fall when it's not so hot and humid.
