Dena, I invited some friends over and made this for breakfast. It Is A Winner!! Very good My friends, who had never eaten grits before, all asked for the recipe. I used 1/2 pound of Sage sausage and 1/2 pound of hot & spicy sausage, since we all like hot foods. I have not had grits for a long while and this recipe is an excellent way to get back into eating them!! LOL Thanks So Much for sharing this recipe!! It is a Keeper and will be used regularly, especially when we get into our rainy season out this way.
